Ruston Farmers Market opens Teaching Kitchen

RUSTON, La. (KTVE/KARD)– The Ruston Farmers Market is excited to announce the grand opening of The Drew Jones Teaching Kitchen. The grand opening ceremony is open to all and will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 10 AM, at the Ruston Farmers Market.

According to officials, the Drew Jones Teaching Kitchen was made possible through a generous Ruston Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau grant. The kitchen, named in honor of the late board member Drew Jones, aims to enrich the community through culinary education and skill-building.

We’re thrilled to open The Drew Jones Teaching Kitchen, which reflects our mission to give back to the community and provide valuable resources for Ruston residents, we aim to offer a diverse range of classes, both paid leisure classes and free educational classes, to cater to the interests and needs of our community.
