Creative participants wanted for Halloween Downtown in Eugene
EUGENE, Ore. — City of Eugene Cultural Services is seeking help from the community to make Halloween Downtown bigger, better and more bone-chilling than ever. The annual free event, which attracted more than 5,000 visitors in 2023, is a longtime favorite among Eugene residents and regional tourists. The celebration traditionally has spanned across three blocks of Broadway to provide an afternoon of family friendly trick-or-treating, local vendor booths, circus performers, flash mobs and a pet parade.

Couple left to rebuild after Central Point Grant Fire
CENTRAL POINT, Ore. - The Grant Fire that erupted Tuesday afternoon leaves Quade Norush and his wife with nothing. Multiple agencies responded to Grant Road in Central Point and the fire prompted Level 2 evacuations. Quade told NewsWatch 12 on a phone call that his wife was hospitalized last week due to E. Coli poisoning after eating contaminated sushi at a local restaurant.

On July 15th, 2024, at 10:53 p.m., the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office entered Coos County on Hwy 42 at mile marker 45 in active pursuit of a Toyota Camry. Fair board announces fair, event dates at fairgrounds
The floor has been raised in the Oaks building. Heating and cooling units are being installed in the upstairs of the Clarno building.
