LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Someone bought a winning Powerball ticket here in the Stateline and it is going to expire next month.

The $100,000 ticket was bought at the Road Ranger on East Riverside in Loves Park last September, but no one has claimed it.

Winners only have one year from the draw date to claim their prize, so this one will expire on September 8th.

The Illinois Lottery asks Powerball players to check anywhere they may have stashed an old ticket.

The winning ticket was for the September 9th drawing and matches 4 out of the 5 numbers, plus the Powerball.

The ticket was also bought with power play bringing the winnings up to $100,000.
