    Janesville’s Masonic Temple damaged by gunfire

    JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Police in Janesville are searching for a suspect in a Sunday morning shooting that left the Masonic Temple damaged.

    According to Janesville Police, officers responded to a reported shooting at the intersection of E. Milwaukee and N. Sumac Drive.

    Police found multiple windows in the Masonic Temple building, at 2322 W. Milwaukee Street, had been damaged by bullet fire.

    No one was injured, police said.

    A caller reported seeing an unidentified male of an unknown race, thin and standing approximately 6′ tall, wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and dark-colored pants.

    Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact Janesville Police at 608-755-3100.
