BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Beloit Police are asking the public to help identify a burglary suspect.

According to authorities, the suspect “entered a school which is no longer being used by the district” on Tuesday, August 20th.

“After cruising around causing damage, he fled from officers on a dirtbike in the area of Merideth and Fairview,” police said.

Police said the suspect could be charged with burglary, criminal damage to property, and felony fleeing.

“There were no students around, and this is a closed school where the subject was,” police said.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Beloit Police.
