    Teen charged with burglary to Dollar General

    DAVIS JUNCTION, Ill. (WTVO) — A 16-year-old has been charged with burglary to a Dollar General Store in Davis Junction.

    According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the store, at 101 Park Street, around 7:58 a.m., for a burglary that had occurred in the overnight hours early Tuesday.

    Police were able to identify the suspect through a subsequent investigation, and made an arrest.

    The teen was charged with burglary and criminal damage to property, and was transported to the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center and held overnight.
