Red Cross strike team sent to Washington
YAKIMA-A Red Cross strike team was sent to the area from South Carolina due to all of the recent fires, extreme heat and fire warnings. According to a leader at the Red Cross, the team is experienced with lots of deployments, and act as relief when local resources are spread thin. They also sent a semi truck full of extra supplies so the local Red Cross has enough on hand.
