PITTSBURG, KS — Head Coach Jenny Fuller has accepted a Head Coaching position at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

The Gorillas finished the year with a 53-8 overall record including a 23-3 MIAA record.

They also claimed a share of the MIAA Regular Season crown for the second time in program history, while advancing to the MIAA Tournament Championship.

Coach Fuller gave us a statement on her time with Pitt State and accepting the job at Northwestern State.

“As we prepare to leave Pittsburg, we would like to thank this community and University, especially Jim Johnson, for the support you’ve given us the last three years. You embraced us as we worked to develop a strong softball culture and a winning tradition. We are very excited about our upcoming move to Natchitoches. I believe we can build a winning culture and be competitive in the Southland Conference”.
