NAZARETH, Pa. - The Nazareth football program is coming off a storybook season that saw them upend previously unbeaten Parkland in the District 11 Class 6A championship game. The Blue Eagles have talented players returning, including rising junior quarterback Peyton Falzone, but must fill the void of losing 31 graduating seniors.
Lehigh University reviews $125 million bond sale with Northampton County; Dixie land transfer delayed
BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Lehigh University plans a bond issue of $125 million to pay for campus improvements and refund some earlier debt, taking advantage of lower rates. Lehigh Treasurer David Hammer presented the sale to the Northampton County General Purpose Authority (GPA) on Tuesday, and County Council will hold a final vote Wednesday.
Parents as Teachers Evidence-based program marks 30th year
