N.J. town sued for alleged discrimination against home for recovering addicts, alcoholics
A Gloucester County zoning board is being sued for discriminating against recovering addicts by blocking a recovery home from operating in a residential neighborhood. The five-bedroom home, located in Washington Township and run by the organization Rising Sun Recovery, opened last year to help men recover from addiction and alcoholism, according to a lawsuit filed in New Jersey federal court last month.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A land dispute between the City of Bethlehem and its namesake hotel may be put to rest this week. City Council is due to vote Tuesday on a three-way deal between the city, its Redevelopment Authority and the Hotel Bethlehem that ensures the hotel can continue to use a small parking area and exit lane off Main Street.

Bethlehem Township considers regulating vacant properties
BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. – The Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners reviewed changes to codes and ordinances Monday night at the administration building. The first involved a township code governing vacant property. The township's current definition will be deleted entirely and replaced with a definition which states "any building that is uninhabited; or, not in use for which purpose the land or building is designed, arranged, intended or for which it is or may be occupied or maintained."
