The Kia went over a speed bump in the roadway, causing the juvenile to fall out onto the pavement and sustain serious injuries. Medics took the victim to the hospital, where they reportedly are in life-threatening condition.

Police did not reveal the ages of those inside the vehicle and said it remains unknown why the victim was sitting in the open window. NBC4 will have updates as the Accident Investigation Unit continues to process the incident.
