Comedian and podcast host Theo Von to perform at the Schottenstein Center

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A comedian and podcaster who recently hosted a former president on his show will perform his “widely popular” comedy special in Columbus this fall.

Theo Von’s comedy tour “Return of the Rat” is coming to the Schottenstein Center on Nov. 14, he announced in a news release Wednesday.

“Regular People,” Von’s most recent comedy special, was released on Netflix in 2021. In it, he discusses “wild tales” about regular people from his small-town life. He comes from the “stray animal belt of southern Lousiana,” according to the release.

The comedian brings in millions of views a month with his podcasts “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von” and “King and the Sting.” In August, he interviewed former President Donald Trump and former presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders in separate episodes of This Past Weekend.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.
