Travel Opportunity to Europe for Caledonia High School Students
Caledonia Area Public School board members met Monday, July 15 at Caledonia Elementary School in room #162. Board member Mike Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m., led with the Pledge of Allegiance, then conducted roll call with all board members present. School district employees present included Superintendent Craig Ihrke, Middle/High School Principal Nathan Boler, Elementary Principal John Wahlstrom, and Community Education Director Gretchen Juan.
Waukon High School Football Camp August 5-9 for freshmen-seniors
The Waukon High School football coaching staff is hosting its 2024 Waukon Indian Football Camp Monday through Friday, August 5-9. The camp, run by the Waukon coaching staff, is a non-contact camp aimed at teaching fundamental instruction in offensive/defensive techniques necessary for the execution of Waukon’s system of play.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) brought together more than 16,000 students and academic advisers from 48 states and territories to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL from June 28-July 2 for the annual FBLA National Leadership Conference. The Conference is an opportunity for the best career and technical education (CTE) students in the nation to compete in more than 100 competitive events, take part in workshop sessions with industry leaders and state meetings, visit the expo exhibit hall, and conduct networking throughout the conference with the traditional state pin trading.
