Women’s Volleyball Unveils 2024 Season Schedule
NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College women’s volleyball team officially released their schedule for the 2024 season Monday afternoon. The Knights start their season off at the Skidmore Classic in Oneonta, NY from August 30 th -31 st . The two-day tournament sees the Knights face Utica College first on August 30 th at 3:00 PM, followed by Western New England at 5:00 PM. NY weather update: Flood advisory anticipated to expire at 1 a.m.
The advisory was for Westchester County. "The Flood Advisory will expire at 1 a.m. early this morning for portions of southern Connecticut, including the following area, Fairfield and southeast New York, including the following area, Westchester. Four houses proposed at site of former Spring Hill Road animal rescue
MONROE, CT — Neighbors of the SPCA of Connecticut Animal Shelter railed against the facility at 359 Spring Hill Road when it first opened in the early 2000s, but the dog kennels were a grandfathered use. The owner, Frederick Acker, fought with town officials over the number of dogs allowed on the property over the years and, due to financial woes, the shelter closed down for good last year.

9th annual Peekskill Film Festival seeks to break record of attendees
The 9th Annual Peekskill Film Festival will launch this week on Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27, 2024 supported by The Field Library and the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater.
