The Connecticut Sun took handled the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday afternoon with a final score of 96-69. The 27-point blowout for the Sun was much thanks to a couple of incredible performances by DiJonai Carrington and Rachel Banham.

Carrington recorded her first career double-double, notching 12 points and 11 rebounds in 34 minutes. That said, the best performance of the game, without a doubt, goes to Banham, who made some incredible history. Not only did she record a game-high 24 points, but she shot a whopping 8/11 from beyond the arc. Those eight three-pointers are good for WNBA history, as she set the record for most three-pointers made off the bench.

This was an awesome moment for Banham, and it was really great to see history made by who doesn't get as much coverage. It also capped off a really incredible game for the Sun as there were great performances across the board.
