NEW MILFORD—Antje Duvekot returns to Merryall Center, 8 Chapel Hill Rd., Saturday, Aug. 10, at 7:30 p.m. Born in Germany and transplanted to the U.S. as a young teen, Duvekot began to hone her observational skills through a lens of biculturalism when she picked up a guitar during that move. Duvekot has extensive touring experience, having crisscrossed the U.S. and Europe many times. She’s been invited to play some of the top festivals including The Newport Folk Festival as well as the Mountain Stage, Philadelphia and Kerrville Festivals.

Artists reception, painting demonstration set for Aug. 10
