27 Morristown High School Students Receive Scholarships from the Morris Educational Foundation
Morristown, NJ – Over 290,000 in scholarships have been awarded to 27 Morristown High School seniors to support their academic pursuits, announced the Morris Educational Foundation (MEF). The MEF, a non-profit organization enhancing excellence in education in the Morris School District for over 31 years, honored the deserving students during the high school’s scholarship award night on June 11. The twenty-seven students received scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $100,000. Football To Hold 7 On 7 Contest Wednesday
The Verona High School football team will hold its first 7 on 7 tournament on Wednesday, July 24, beginning at 4 p.m. There are four pools set for the contest and 16 high schools will be competing, from Don Bosco Prep to Elizabeth, Mahwah, Montclair Kimberley Academy and more, as well as VHS. Seven on seven is a non-contact version of football that emphasizes passing and receiving skills.
