Construction worker dies in Harlem: police

HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) — A construction worker in Harlem was pronounced dead on Wednesday after an accident, according to officials.

The 45-year-old man’s leg got caught on a rope that pulled him down to the ground, police sources told PIX11 News. It was not immediately clear where he was on the construction site when the accident occurred.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. at 1505 Park Ave., according to police.

Additional information regarding the victim’s identity and what led up to the accident was not available.
