As many people would say: teamwork makes the dream work.

This is the mindset New York Knicks guard Josh Hart is ascribing to, especially after the team's playoff run last season that saw what they can do despite not having All-Star talent outside of Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle (who didn't play in the postseason due to injury).

The lack of star-caliber players saw the Knicks exceed expectations. With relentless effort and elite-level defense, they secured the second seed in the East with 50 wins after seeing Brunson, Hart, Donte DiVincenzo, OG Anunoby, Isaiah Hartenstein, Miles McBride, and Precious Achiuwa come together to have the team be close to making the Eastern Conference Finals before falling to the Indiana Pacers in Game 7.

Having change take place within the team throughout the offseason, adding Brooklyn Nets star Mikal Bridges via trade, extending Brunson and Anunoby while losing Hartenstein, Hart expressed full confidence in the Knicks heading into the 2024-25 campaign.

In a recent stream on XSET, Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams reflected on his accomplishment of winning the East Finals with the Boston Celtics in 2022, taking a playful jab at Hart right after.

Hart's response is one that will confirm to fans his commitment to the team that is allowing him to play the way he wants.

Considering how much New York has achieved with Hart since he arrived in 2023, it makes sense for him to believe there is unfinished business as the Knicks seek a return to the East Finals for the first time since 2000 and the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.

Hart provided never-ending hustle as one of the Knick' key players, averaging 9.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in the regular season. He showed no fear in playing heavy minutes, averaging 42.2 minutes per game throughout the postseason while putting up 14.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and a steal.

Plenty of eyes will be on the Knicks this season, especially with Randle returning to now showcase the overall roster as one capable of competing with the Boston Celtics for the crown of the East.

And if the "Power of Friendship" is all that the Knicks need to have a successful season, Hart wouldn't ask for anything more.
