    They’re not toying around.

Mitch Johnson and Jake Parr, a pair of best friend-urban explorers, came across a daunting bungalow in Scotland that triggered their paranoia like few spooky sights have before.

“It was probably one of the most uncomfortable places I’ve ever been to if I’m honest because I wasn’t quite sure if there was anyone in the teddies,” said Johnson.

The men traveled six and a half hours from Manchester, England, to Selkirk, Scotland, seeking to explore the abandoned house they’d heard about from the great vine. The deserted home had a dark history of a woman who hoarded toys after her husband passed away, following her death.

Although the duo wasn’t 100% sure if this was the house they were looking for after searching for four days, they decided to step inside to see for themselves. They were able to enter the bungalow through a gap in the large panel on the back door that was missing.

“I’ve been to asylums and loads of places around the world on my own and this was the most scary place I have ever been in and there was just a weird vibe about it that didn’t sit right at all,” Johnson confessed.

The uninhibited home was filled with keepsake toys covered in cobwebs that took up to six feet of space in a bedroom. Johnson even admitted that the air inside felt damp.

“There were some real collectibles in there, some really rare dolls. There were like 200 or 300 Cabbage Patch Dolls. Some of them are a grand each,” he added.

Johnson also found many teddy bears, from Care Bears to Monsters Inc., quite disturbing.

“I felt like I was being watched. I couldn’t wait to get out of there, I really couldn’t. I spent six and a half hours driving and then maybe an hour trekking to it and I just couldn’t wait to get out of the place,” he admitted.

Johnson runs several social media accounts, with over 51,000 followers on Facebook. He uploads content from his urban explorations around the world.

However, he couldn’t stomach staying inside the house any longer, so although he needed to capture images, he quickly exited the home while his mate stayed inside to capture footage.

“I even sacrificed some pictures because I just didn’t want to be in there,” he added. “It was just the most bizarre place I’ve ever been and I’ve been all around the world doing this.”
