    Knicks bring back Jacob Toppin on two-way contract

    The Knicks are bringing back Jacob Toppin.

    The younger brother of former Knicks lottery pick Obi Toppin agreed to a two-way contract, the team announced on Wednesday.

    The 6-foot-8 Toppin appeared in just nine regular season games with the Knicks last year, but he did average 19.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 25 games with the Westchester Knicks in the G-League.

    The former Kentucky forward remains a developmental player.

    The Knicks also have rookies and second-round picks Ariel Hukporti and Kevin McCullar on two-way contracts.
