Motor Booty Affair delights hundreds
The weather gods were smiling once again, when Motor Booty Affair returned to the stage Wednesday, June 26 for the first concert in this year’s Southport Musicfest series. A sold out all ages crowd of around 500 danced the night away on the lawn of the Newagen Seaside Inn. Local hero, Chip Schwehm was on hand to open the proceedings and get the audience suitably warmed up for the main event. Motor Booty Affair are the first of 3 acts to grace the Musicfest stage this summer with additional concerts on July 17 with Maine’s Spencer Albee and Aug. 14 with The Rupert’s Orchestra.

Despite the fact that activities didn’t officially begin until Monday, July 1 Abby, Tim and their assistant Kate Lindley were kind enough to hold some of the kids weekly activities this past week, thank you. Prior to the Mahoneys’ arrival Kate was busy preparing the Casino for opening, thank you to her as well.
