NOW: Hottest day of the week! Some spots will feel like the lower to mid-90s with the heat and humidity. The chance for a pop-up shower or thunderstorm has come back a bit, but we won't rule one out entirely for spots across southwest parts of Fairfield County. Some could produce some heavy downpours. A cold front will move in late day bringing a chance for that second round of rain before cooler temperatures move in to finish the week NEW & NEXT : A quiet finish to the week with highs not making it out the 70s Thursday and Friday.
