    Heavy metal band Metallica awards Rockland Community College 25K grant

    Members of the band Metallica are helping local students straight to graduation. The heavy metal band's All Within My Hands Foundation awarded Rockland Community College a $25,000 grant. The money will be used to provide scholarships for students enrolled in the CDL class, a commercial driver training program. Additionally, the grant will expand opportunities in the school's manufacturing workforce development programs. "
