The forecast remains quiet. Fair weather is still in control - for now. The onshore flow will bring some late-night low-level moisture through the state which could help in fog development in some areas. Otherwise, I'll call it partly cloudy. Not as cool as the past three nights – lows in the 50s and 60s. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0veXSy_0vMDKH6200
Friday is the beginning of some short-lived changes in the forecast. Clouds will collect after lunchtime tomorrow. The continued onshore flow might create some drizzly moments, but nothing soaking. Temperatures will climb to the mid-70s (normal is 82). https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0DTI6E_0vMDKH6200 The hiccup in the forecast is Saturday. Still on track for a coastal system to pass well East of the state, but close enough where clouds will pivot in off the ocean. The rain arrives later in the day. A line of showers and possible thunderstorms will quickly slide through anytime after 2 p.m. on Saturday. The rain is moving quickly so flooding shouldn't be an issue. Grumbles of thunder and a few flashes of lightning are possible, but severe weather is not expected at this time.
