Initiative to restore vandalized park tables

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — An exciting collaboration to restore and rebuild vandalized park tables at Durand Eastman Park.

Mayor Malik Evans and the Department of Environmental Services teamed up with Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES after the school requested to help revamp the vandalized tables.

Organizers tell us the City Parks Bureau gave the materials to the school and students in the BOCES Professional and Technical preparation class got to work restoring the structures. Today they got to deliver the tables to the park.
