The heat and humidity continues to surge throughout the day with temperatures expected to climb into the upper 80s, potentially kissing the 90° mark. Our atmosphere will be unstable throughout the afternoon hours, which indicates that there is a slight chance of an isolated downpour or two firing up. Otherwise, we will remain partly cloudy for the day. Clouds start to move back in during the overnight hours, only allowing for temperatures to drop into the upper 60s.
