Two new schedule announcements for Syracuse men’s basketball

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Two new schedule announcements were made for the Syracuse men’s basketball squad on Wednesday, August 14.

The first is that SU and Texas will play on Thursday, November 21, at 7 p.m. in the 2024 Legends Classic tournament at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The winner of that game will go on to the tournament’s championship game to face the winner of the matchup between Texas Tech and Saint Joseph’s.

It was also announced that the Orange will open their season against Le Moyne at the JMA Wireless Dome on Monday, November 4.

SU and Le Moyne last squared off in 2008 with the Orange winning, 85-51.
