ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police seized drugs from a home on Emerson Street after bullets struck it.

After 2 a.m. Thursday morning, RPD responded to Emerson Street and found evidence that gunshots were fired in the area. They also found an occupied home that was struck by gunfire.

Officers said they forced entry into the home due to a possible victim inside. Once they got inside, they found 12 pounds of marijuana, over 100 pills in unmarked containers, and psychedelic mushrooms.

They also found the two occupants of the home, a 28-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man. Both were uninjured.

The two occupants were arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of cannabis.
