$50,000 Scratch-Off Winner Sold in Avon

AVON, OH - According to a press release issued by the Ohio Lottery on Thursday, August 8, 2024, an Ohio Lottery player in Avon, Ohio, struck it lucky by winning $50,000 on the popular scratch-off game, $2,000,000 Cashword.

The winning ticket was purchased at Get Go #3015, located at 35501 Just Imagine Drive.

According to the Ohio Lottery, after taxes, which include both state and federal deductions totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home approximately $36,000.

The $2,000,000 Cashword game, which costs $30 per ticket, offers a top prize of $80,000 a year for 25 years. As of August 8, 2024, there are still four top prizes available in the game.
