NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Buc-ee’s, the popular Texas-based travel center known for its massive stores and clean restrooms, could find logical expansion opportunities in New Jersey, a state with high traffic volume and strategic interstate connections.

Although Buc-ee’s currently has no locations in New Jersey, several areas stand out as potential spots for development.

One prime location for a Buc-ee's would be along Interstate 95, also known as the New Jersey Turnpike.

According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, this major highway sees heavy daily traffic from both commuters and long-distance travelers, making it an ideal spot for a Buc-ee’s that caters to motorists seeking a one-stop shop for fuel, food, and restrooms.

According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, locations near exits that connect to other significant highways, such as I-295 or I-78, would also maximize accessibility and visibility.

Another potential area for a Buc-ee's is along the Garden State Parkway, especially in the southern part of the state, which serves as a gateway to popular shore destinations.

A location here would attract both year-round residents and seasonal tourists heading to the Jersey Shore.

Lastly, proximity to densely populated areas, such as the suburbs of Philadelphia or New York City, could provide a steady customer base for a Buc-ee's, offering convenience for road travelers in these busy regions.

Roads from New Jersey to New York City also have high traffic counts, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

These strategic placements would align with Buc-ee’s expansion model, targeting high-traffic corridors where motorists can take advantage of the brand's unique offerings.
