EVENSVILLE — Animal Shelter Alliance of Rhea is happy to announce the launch of its new Vehicle Donation Program in partnership with Charitable Adult Rides and Services (CARS). This groundbreaking initiative aims to make a significant impact on the lives of shelter animals by providing an effortless way for supporters to contribute to the welfare of the animals.
Through this exciting partnership with CARS, Animal Shelter Alliance of Rhea is now able to accept vehicle donations of all types, including cars, boats, planes, motorcycles, RVs, farm equipment, and more. What sets this program apart is its focus on convenience, including for those with non-running vehicles, making it easy for supporters to turn their vehicles into a valuable contribution that directly supports the shelter’s efforts to rescue and care for animals.
None of the vehicles come to the shelter. CARS arranges to pick them up right from your driveway, and then takes care of the paperwork, sales, everything! When everything is done, they send you the tax deduction information and provide us a donation check in your name.
How the Vehicle Donation Program Works:

4. Maximum Tax Benefits: Donors are eligible to receive a tax deduction for their generous contribution based on the final sale price of the donated vehicle.
5. Supporting Shelter Animals: The proceeds from the sale of donated vehicles go directly to Animal Shelter Alliance of Rhea, providing critical resources for medical care, shelter, food, and adoption programs.
