WASHINGTON PARISH, La. – In light of the recent nationwide cellular service disruptions, the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness are actively addressing concerns and ensuring continuous access to emergency services for all residents.

The Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that despite the widespread cell service interruptions, the ability to reach emergency services by dialing 911 remains unaffected. “Your safety is our top priority, and access to 911 services is fully operational,” assured the department.
