Benjamin Brubaker, who would now be 49, went missing on Oct. 13, 2005. When he went missing, he had blonde hair and blue eyes. He weighed 148 pounds and was 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Authorities offered some details about his appearance at the time of his disappearance: "He has an Insane Clown Posse logo on his upper left arm. On his upper right arm, he has a tattoo of the Insane Clown Posse's Jester holding a bird in one hand and a magic wand in the other hand with the words 'The Great Milenko.' He has a scar on his back."

According to authorities, confidential tips led them to two properties in the village of Polk to search for Brubaker on Tuesday.

Since Brubaker went missing 19 years ago, BCI's technical resources have improved.

Investigators said they used cadaver dogs, ground penetrating radar and probes to search for possible evidence connecting to Brubaker.

Brubaker's mom, Phyllis Heimberger, has agonized over the disappearance for nearly two decades.

"Being a mother, I know that he's no longer alive and I don't necessarily have to know exactly what happened to him, but I'd like to know where he's at so I can bring him home," Heimberger said.

Brubaker's sister, Beth Todd, said with the cold case heating up, the family has renewed hope that the case could be solved one day.

"I think that would give us all peace, a little bit of closure to have some answers," Todd said.

While detectives said no significant evidence was found, the investigation is ongoing and they are "following other avenues."
