Maricopa Police Department arrested an alleged Peeping Tom Saturday after footprints at his ex-wife’s apartment matched the slippers on his feet.

Jeremy J. Pumphrey, 43, was charged with stalking, aggravated harassment, burglary, harassment, interfering with judicial proceedings and criminal trespass, according to a probable-cause statement obtained by InMaricopa .

Cops received reports Pumphrey violated his ex-wife’s restraining order that night at a gated apartment complex on North Porter Road. A family friend caught Pumphrey standing on a chair on the front patio, peering through a window.

Officers found a slipper-wearing Pumphrey at his West Hopper Drive home in Homestead, where he denied visiting the apartment. His slippers matched footprints on the chair.

Pumphrey eventually came clean after police leveraged security camera footage from the apartment complex. He acknowledged the restraining order and admitted he snooped around his ex-wife’s car and front window.

Pumphrey was booked into the Pinal County jail and faces more than 21 years in prison.
