The 2024 NFL season is just a few months away and the quest to Super Bowl LIX will begin for all 32 teams in the league. The chaos of free agency and the excitement of the 2024 NFL Draft are now in the rearview mirror and the start of training camp and preseason are just ahead of us.

With a big season ahead, it is time to take a look at five quarterbacks who have the BEST chance of winning Super Bowl LIX. This is not a ranking of the five best quarterbacks in the NFL, but a ranking of which quarterback has the best shot at winning it all. This is determined by the team's situation, schedule, conference, roster, and many other factors.

#5 Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers)

The Green Bay Packers surprised many by making the playoffs and destroying the Dallas Cowboys in the Wildcard round. With a good off-season and draft, many see the green and yellow as Super Bowl contenders once again, even without Aaron Rodgers at the helm. It is all because of the breakout season by Jordan Love. Love had thrown for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions with a 96.1 passer rating in his first season as the starter.

After a slow start, he and the Packers finished the year strong winning six out of the last eight games on the schedule as well as a playoff game before falling short to the San Francisco 49ers. While Love has a great shot at making the Super Bowl this year, it will not happen unless the team figures out how to take down San Francisco.

    #4 Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals)

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals are expected to be Super Bowl contenders once again after Burrow's injury-shortened 2023 season. While Burrow might take a little bit to adjust after the season starts, there is no doubt the Bengals will make the playoffs again. The team has the talent to win it all, but it won't happen unless they take down Kansas City.

The Chiefs could not stop Burrow and the Bengals in the AFC Championship back in 2021, but they did a year later in 2022. If there is one team that can stop the defending champions, it will be Cincinnati and with high expectations, we could see Burrow and his squad in the Super Bowl once again.

    #3 Jared Goff (Detroit Lions)

Many would argue that Jared Goff is not a top-five quarterback in the NFL, even if he is paid like one. But he does have a top-five chance to make the Super Bowl this season. The Detroit Lions are in great shape to make their first-ever appearance in the big game after falling short to San Francisco last year.

The team has one of the best offenses in the NFL and if their defense can step up, they can be champions. It will be a little bit tougher this year with a first-place schedule and improvements by the Packers and Chicago Bears. But if Detroit and Goff can hold off the NFC challengers, they could be set up with another date in San Francisco looking for a win this time around.

#2 Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers)

It is not a hot take that the quarterback who represented the NFC in last year's Super Bowl has the best chance in the conference to make it back again. While Brock Purdy may not be the most exciting quarterback in the league, he does have the best roster in the NFL around him. For a seventh-round pick, Purdy has done everything he needs to and more since being drafted in 2022.

But for Purdy and the 49ers to win the Super Bowl, they have to figure out a way to stop Patrick Mahomes. This roster will not stay young forever and eventually, Purdy will be getting paid over $55+ million a year. This means that now is the perfect time for San Francisco to win and there are no excuses this time around.

#1 Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs)

The league's best quarterback is in great shape to win his third Super Bowl in a row. Despite an inexperienced wide receiver corps and winning only 11 games, the lowest win total by KC under Mahomes, the team went 4-0 in the postseason en route to the team's victory in Super Bowl LVIII.

There's no reason to say that any other quarterback has a better chance to win Super Bowl LIX than Patrick Mahomes. But who do you think has the best chance of winning the Super Bowl this season? Will there be a surprise breakout quarterback? Let us know your thoughts! And while you're still here, Parlay Joe has a great article covering Indianapolis Colts breakout targets .
