    TDOT: Traffic clear after overturned tractor-trailer causes delays in Carter County

    CARTER COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — An overturned tractor-trailer caused delays Monday morning in Carter County, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reported.

    According to TDOT’s SmartWay map , the northbound lane of State Route 37/Highway 19 E near Simerly Creek Road has reopened.

    As of 10:30 a.m., no traffic delays are in the area.

    A spokesperson for TDOT stated the closure was due to an overturned tractor-trailer.
