Bronny James Turning Heads With Answer About His Favorite NBA Player

There comes an age when most kids no longer think that their parents are the coolest people ever, and start to gravitate toward musicians, athletes, or movie stars as someone they look up to.
However, that isn't always the case as sometimes parents serve as inspirations far beyond the levels that anyone else could. For NBA Draft hopeful Bronny James, he has a bit of a unique situation in terms of who he looks up to. As we all know, his father LeBron James happens to be arguably the best player of all time while also having a major impact on hoops culture for about every young adult/teen.
James, the Los Angeles Lakers' star, has been atop of the NBA for nearly all of his 21 seasons in the league, and throughout the years has been the favorite player for nearly all who have come after him. Something that we commonly see with rookies entering the league, as they go from idolizing James, to playing against him. While it may be different for someone who isn't the son of James to view him as their favorite NBA player, it also wouldn't come as a surprise to see his son look up to someone else in the league just for the simple fact that James is his father and he wants to be a bit different.
However, when recently asked about his favorite player in the league past or present, the younger James actually went with his father. Now, it is worth noting that he did kind of pay homage to the iconic "LeBron James" Vine, and immediately laughed after he said it, but nonetheless if you are the Lakers' star you have to be somewhat honored.
With the NBA Draft taking place over the next couple of days, there is a chance that we can see the Lakers draft the former five-star guard out of USC to pair him up with his father. Reports have indicated that the younger James has only worked out for select teams, with the Lakers and Suns having him in for workouts.
Whether he will hear his name called in the first round remains a mystery, being that he didn't shine in his lone college season averaging 4.8 points on 36.6 percent shooting. However, having one of the most influential athletes of all time as your father, strings can certainly be pulled. Especially in a draft class that is said to be as weak as this year's.
