Old Dominion kicked off the weekend with a heartfelt anthem, “Coming Home,” serving as the first impression of a fresh era of music from the reigning, six-time Country Music Association Vocal Group of the Year. The band’s newest single made its debut on Friday (June 28).

The group — made up of Matthew Ramsey , Trevor Rosen , Whit Sellers , Geoff Sprung , and Brad Tursi — began hinting at new music by posting photos inside a recording studio on Instagram last month. In early June, they started to reveal sneak peeks of “Coming Home,” stirring anticipation among eager Instagram users.

“Coming Home” follows Memory Lane , Old Dominion’s 18-track album that arrived in October 2023. That project included the title track, “Can’t Break Up Now” featuring Megan Moroney , “I Should Have Married You,” “Some Horses,” “Ain’t Got a Worry” featuring Blake Shelton , “Easier Said with Rum,” “Freedom Like You” and more.

Old Dominion played career-spanning hits when they took the main stage at Nissan Stadium earlier this month at CMA Fest in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The festival, hailed the longest-running country music festival in the world, also included Lainey Wilson , Keith Urban , Jelly Roll and many more in the star-studded lineup.
