Tim Tebow Has Landed a New Non-Football Job

Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Tim Tebow has landed a new job outside of the world of sports.

Tebow is now a partner at GOVO Venture Partners — a venture capital firm based in Winter Park, Florida.

Tebow's new job was first reported by Sportico:

"The former NFL player turned football analyst will use his expertise and relationships across the state to boost the firm, which recently launched its first venture fund (GOVO Fund I) focusing on early-stage companies involved with government entities and government regulations," sports business insider Eric Jackson reported.

GOVO looks to invest in companies that "strive to solve societal problems" — a mission statement that aligns with the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Tebow's role within the company will be "expanding GOVO’s capacity to attract Florida-based investment opportunities while supporting broader company goals," per Jackson. The role also calls the former NFL player turned ESPN analyst to "accelerate the growth of the fund’s portfolio."
