Before Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. can make a statement on the field with his play , he'll be making a statement with what he's wearing.

Harrison is set to lace up the very first American football cleat made by footwear powerhouse New Balance for the 2024 season. The first two cleats will come in white and gold, and black and gold.

The white and gold cleat is New Balance's "Prodigy" cleat, which fits the look of a pass-catcher like Harrison. The black and gold cleat is called "The Fortress," a hightop option for trench players. We'll likely see Harrison rock the former for the Cardinals.

Harrison originally signed with New Balance a couple days before the 2024 NFL Draft. He was selected with the fourth overall pick by Arizona, becoming the first non-quarterback taken in the draft .

“Family is very important to me and joining a family brand like New Balance felt like I was building a relationship that centers on trust and shared values,” Harrison said after inking the deal with his new brand partner . “Being able to work closely with the design and product creation team so quickly and helping them launch the new cleats is just icing on the cake. I am excited to do the work and build something that will inspire the next generation and help me excel as I enter my professional football career.”

Harrison had influence of what his new cleat would become, and it's a clean masterpiece. He's yet to take a snap in the NFL, but the 21-year old is already on his way to becoming an icon at the position.

It's a level of star power the Cardinals have desperately needed to join forces with quarterback Kyler Murray.
