On Thursday night, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever fell to 7-12 after an 89-77 loss to the Seattle Storm. This defeat marked the Fever's second loss in a row.

After the game, Fever coach Christie Sides, along with many fans, mentioned Clark didn't take enough shots. Clark only had nine shot attempts against the Storm, well below her season average. It is crucial to note that the Fever have lost all five games in which Clark has attempted 10 shots or fewer.

"Caitlin Clark needs to shoot a minimum of 15 shots a game for us," Sides said after the game. "She's got to get shots, and we've got to do a better job of setting her up, setting some really good screens for her to get her open."

Former WNBA star Rebecca Lobo agreed with Sides about Clark's shot attempts. She gave an honest review of Clark amid her shooting concerns, expressing she feels the former Iowa Hawkeyes star needs to shoot more.

"I think Christie Sides is right on point saying she needs to shoot the basketball more. She's only averaging 12 field goal attempts a game," Lobo said. "For some context, Kelsey Plum takes 16 a game. Sabrina Ionescu takes 15. That is partly on Caitlin and partly on her teammates."

Clark is averaging 16.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game. She is currently top five among WNBA rookies in all three categories. She also leads the entire league in three-pointers made.
