Wrestling and NBA fans were treated with unexpected cameos from Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Halliburton on "WWE Smackdown" at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

After an epic seven-game 2024 series, the two met where Haliburton and the Pacers defeated the Knicks in a 130-109 rout.

The two Eastern Conference point guards were first involved in an intense staredown ringside ahead of a match between Logan Paul, LA Knight and Santos Escobar.

A second face-off occurred mid-match, which referees broke up. It culminated with both in the ring following LA Knight's win. Haliburton entered with brass knuckles while supporting Paul, but Brunson chased both out of the ring with a metal folding chair.

Afterward, social media lit up with delighted fans.

"Haha, this is actually pretty dope," said one fan.

"Lmao… pretty good acting Jalen," wrote another.

"This was crazily enough one of the best segments Smackdown has had all year for me anyway. Love a good crossover," wrote one fan as the sequence continued.

"These NBA guys grew up on wwe and wanna relive tyson and austin and I'm all for it," added another commenter.

"This is the best thing I’ve ever seen," wrote one fan after Haliburton and Brunson entered the ring.

Both players are coming off career-best seasons.

Haliburton led the league in assists (10.9) while propelling the Pacers to the Eastern Conference Finals.
