    Breanna Stewart Makes Major Announcement Ahead of Saturday Showdown vs. Atlanta Dream

    Breanna Stewart is the WNBA's fifth leading scorer at 19.7 points per game heading into Saturday's 1 p.m. matchup with the Atlanta Dream.

    Stewart has been riding high lately as one of the league's biggest stars, enjoying the ramped up competition level provided by newcomers like Cameron Brink, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.

    On Friday, Stewart made a major announcement on her X account that has fans talking.

    Stewart, whose nickname is 'Stewie' is emblazoned on her social media account, announced the launch of her latest signature shoe, the 'Stewie 3 City Of Love' from the Puma Basketball shoes company.

    "I'm Stewie, and this is the Stewie 3 City of Love," Stewart can be heard saying in the brand new shoe's launch video.

    "The shoe colorway is inspired by the ornate detail in French design," she continued. "This is a colorway that I'm really excited to wear this summer," she added.

    Stewart said the shoe represents her current journey and where she is playing basketball in Europe, as she is a member of the 2024 Team USA Olympic Team headed for Paris, France this July.

    She said the new kicks were inspired by European teams' love for and representation of their cities in sports including basketball.

    Stewart's New York Liberty are currently the first place team in the WNBA's Eastern Conference, seven games ahead of the Atlanta Dream, their opponent for Saturday's 1 p.m. matinee in the ATL.
