For the first time since Fox was the broadcast team for the NASCAR Cup races, weather did not interrupt, and cause hours of delays. Fans who attended the race were able to get home in a normal post-race amount of time; and fans who watched from home got to eat dinner and relax without having one eye on the TV all evening. The commercials were still a part of things, of course. Panini America, the world’s largest sports and entertainment collectibles company and the official trading card partner of NASCAR, has announced a partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing to serve as the primary sponsor of the #4 Ford Mustang driven by NASCAR Cup Series rookie-of-the-year points leader Josh Berry in the Brickyard 400 July 21 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The partnership marks Panini’s first primary car sponsorship of the 2024 season and its first at the Cup Series level since 2021. (Panini had primary car partnerships from 2019 – 2023 at the Xfinity Series level.)
