Much has already been made about Caitlin Clark's omission from the Paris 2024 Olympics team.

Yet, Clark shed light on how not playing in Paris this summer will actually be a benefit to her and her Indiana Fever team during a recent interview.

"I think the Olympic break will be really good for all of us," Clark said, per Desert Wave Media . "First of all to get some rest, but also... we have like three weeks to work on us.

"It's like of like training camp again, and practice. You know, we have a young team, so that time... will be super valuable for us."

Clark continued by saying, "It will stink at times, that we don't get to go out there and play. But it will be very beneficial for our group."

The Indiana Fever icon then reiterated that practice time is going to be key for her team as they enter the second half of the WNBA season.

Let's see whether Saturday's Fever practice got them prepared to face Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, and the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday.
