Taylor Swift couldn't contain her excitement during her concert in Dublin when Travis Kelce arrived to catch the show.

As she was performing "August" from her 2020 album "Folklore," Swift looked out to the crowd. Looking around the stadium, Swift flashed a big smile while she was singing the song, which caused her fans to wonder what could have caused her to react in such a way.

It did not take long for her fans to realize the reason for her quick change in demeanor: Travis Kelce . Although Kelce was unable to watch Swift on her show Friday, the three-time Super Bowl champion made sure to catch one of her shows in Ireland, walking in Sunday, much to Swift's delight.

Kelce quickly made his way to the VIP tent, where he was spotted enjoying the show with a beer in hand. Although Kelce was unable to support Swift on Friday, the 34-year-old pop megastar made sure to acknowledge the Kansas City Chiefs star.

While performing "Midnight Rain" from her "Midnights" album, fans caught Swift making a gesture similar to the one Kelce used to celebrate. As she sang the words: "And he never thinks of me, except when I’m on TV," Swift stuck her tongue out and attempted to do an archer pose, which led to cheers from the crowd.

Of note, Swift also did the move when she performed "So High School," which many believe to be a track written for Kelce. Along with how Kelce inspires Swift, the feeling is mutual as ESPN star Pat McAfee noticed.

"I think Taylor motivates him to continue to go," McAfee said, with regards to Kelce continuing his football career despite being in his mid-30s. “I think he watches her do her thing, and he goes: ‘Holy s***, she sells out stadiums in every city around the entire world, she continues to make bangers, she's hands-on in everything.’

"He probably thinks, ‘Yes, this is exactly who I need to be around.’ Because, you know they say you are the company you keep, and the company he's keeping is taking over the world, pretty much, in an industry that I don't think she was supposed to take over as fast as she certainly did.”

Considering how both Swift and Kelce are at the top of their respective fields, it makes sense that the two often have no time to spend with one another. However, Kelce has been doing what he can to support Swift during her worldwide tour.

Recently, Swift brought Kelce to the stage, where the star tight end danced alongside her professional dancers. At one point, the two even got close to each other during her song "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," with fans speculating what the time might have said to one another, which w as all part of the show.

That was the first time Kelce had ever joined Swift on stage, after watching her previous shows from the comfort of the VIP box. So far, Kelce has watched Swift perform in Kansas City, Argentina, Singapore, Australia, France, England and now Ireland.

With Kelce entering the twilight of his NFL career, he appears to be enjoying himself more, especially with how grueling the season is. The Chiefs will formally begin the 2024 NFL season gainst the Baltimore Ravens on September 5.
