    Diana Taurasi Revealed The One Thing She Admires Most About Caitlin Clark After Her Team's Loss to Clark's Fever

    Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever dispatched of WNBA All-Time leading scorer Diana Taurasi's Phoenix Mercury on Sunday by a final score of 88-82 behind 16 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds from Clark, the former NCAA All-Time leading scorer.

    It was revealed on Monday that Taurasi, who scored 19 points in 32 minutes, shared words of respect and admiration for the former Iowa Hawkeyes star.

    "It's amazing what Caitlin's been able to do in her short career so far," Taurasi said after the game according to the Stamford Advocate.

    "The one thing I love about her, she loves the game. You can tell she's put the work in."

    Taurasi was immediately placed on the Mercury's injury report following on the game prior to Monday's matchup against the Connecticut Sun at 10 p.m ET.

    Taurasi, 42, was listed as questionable for the game with back soreness.

    Meanwhile, Clark and the Fever are busy preparing for a 9:30 p.m. tip-off against superstar A'Ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces in Vegas, a game that could be their toughest test of the year following their big win in the desert.
