Just two years removed from an ACL tear, New York Jets running back Breece Hall is feeling really good. Ahead of the 2024 season, the 23-year-old from Iowa State is ready to take on the new season with some big goals in mind.

After missing the entire offseason last time around due to the ACL injury, he is ready to go and expressed just how good he feels (h/t Rich Cimini of ESPN).

"I feel like I'm back to my old self," Hall said.

If that's the case, it could be a scary sight for opposing teams, but good news for Aaron Rodgers, Garrett Wilson, and the rest of the Jets offense.

Hall came into the NFL as an electric force after a magnificent run with Iowa State. He was the second-round pick by the Jets in the 2022 NFL Draft, but he tore his ACL just seven games into his rookie year.

In 2023, Hall rushed for 994 yards with five scores and caught another 76 passes for 591 yards and four touchdowns while playing all 17 games.

His "old self" he is referring to is most likely from his Iowa State days. Hall rushed for 1,572 yards with 21 touchdowns in 2020, and then 1,464 yards with 20 scores in 2021. He was a two-time All-American and two-time Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

The Jets selected Braelon Allen from Wisconsin in the 2024 NFL Draft, but all signs point to Breece Hall becoming the bell-cow running back in the backfield. And if he can return to even a glimpse of his Iowa State days, it will be a dangerous force to reckon with.
