Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racings’ Eli Tomac’s awaited comeback to the AMA Pro Motocross circuit has come to light. The four-time 450 AMA Pro Motocross Champion and two-time Monster Energy AMA Supercross Champion “will hope to return at Budds Creek,” says team manager Jeremy Coker, in a recent interview from Vital Mx, to finish the remaining two rounds of the Pro Motocross Championship and set sights on his first appearance in the SuperMotocross World Championship in September.

It has been since September 3, 2022, at Fox Raceway for the final round of the Pro Motocross Championship that year, where he took his last outdoor title and raced last. The previous year’s Achilles injury prevented him from racing in the 2023 Pro Motocross Championship and the inaugural SuperMotocross World Championship. This year, with the thumb injury in the AMA Supercross round at Denver, it has been a while since we have seen the #3 on the starting gate of Pro Motocross.

Are you thrilled to see Eli Tomac back on the line in a couple of rounds?
